                               Earth day Celebration (2025)

Today 22nd April 2025 Earth day was celebrated in M.R.S Police Public School, Phillaur. On this occasion student from nursery to class 3rd went for nature walk in the golf ground Punjab Police Academy, Phillaur. Students of class 4, 5 and 6 participated in poem recitation competition. Poster making competition was also organised for the students of classes 6th to 8th. All the students participated whole heartedly in different activities organised by the school. Principal Ma’am Dr. Amrita Kumar told all the students regarding the importance of plants, trees, fruits and air in our daily life. She also encouraged them to keep our environment neat and clean.

 

Baisakhi

Maharaja Ranjit Singh Police Public School, Phillaur celebrated Baisakhi with gusto and religious fervour.

 

A special assembly was conducted by the students of Akali Phula Singh house to welcome the harvest season. The students highlighted the religious and cultural significance of the festival through an enlightening speech.

 

A beautiful poem was recited, which added flavour to the celebration. On the onset of the Sikh New Year and the founding of the Khalsa Panth, the students performed the traditional Bhangra, which depicted the real life of farmers of Punjab.

 

An Inter House Soft board decoration competition was also held, adding a creative touch to the Baisakhi celebrations.

 

The tiny tots of KG Wing came in colourful attires depicting Punjab’s rich heritage to celebrate Baisakhi. The motive behind the celebrations was to apprise the students of the rich culture and heritage of Punjab.

 

The Principal, Dr Amrita Kumar conveyed her best wishes to all and blessed everyone with the bounty of the season and a harvest of joy and prosperity.

 

Heritage Day Celebration Report

Date: 17 April,2025

Heritage Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervour at Maharaja Ranjit Singh Police Public School on 17th April 2025 (Thursday). The day aimed to promote awareness and appreciation among students about India's rich cultural heritage.

Celebrations:

The celebrations began with a special assembly, where students dressed in traditional attire from different states of India. The assembly was followed by a cultural program, Traditional Poem and Speech. Fancy Dress competition was held for the students of class l and ll. The colourful traditional dresses of different states of India and Traditional dances depicted India's cultural heritage.

Collage Making Competition was held for the students of Class Vl to Vll. Traditional games were organised for the students of Class lll to V

Guest Lecture:

A short lecture was delivered by Ms Bhavna Sharma. The renowned historian spoke to the students about the significance of preserving India's cultural heritage.

Conclusion:

The Heritage Day celebrations at Maharaja Ranjit Singh Police Public School Phillaur were a grand success. Students learned about and appreciated India's rich cultural heritage, and the event helped to promote a sense of national pride and unity among students.

 

Inter-Class Quiz Competition

28th April 2025

An Inter-Class Quiz Competition was organized at MRS Police Public School on 28th April 2025, for students of classes 9 to 12. The topic of the quiz was "Panchayati Raj." Students from all classes participated enthusiastically, displaying a deep understanding of the subject.

The competition witnessed intense excitement and team spirit among participants. After a series of challenging rounds, two teams tied for the first position. The third and fourth positions were secured by other competitive teams. The event was a grand success, promoting knowledge and healthy competition among students.

The school Principal Dr. Amrita Kumar congratulated the winners and appreciated the efforts of all participants.

 

                                                The Orientation Program

The orientation program for classes I to V was organised in Maharaja Ranjit Singh Police Public School, Phillaur, a significant event on 3rd May, 2025.The program aimed to familiarize parents with the school's curriculum, rules, and regulations, as well as its teaching methodologies.

                                                            World Red Cross Day

Date: 08th May, 2025
Maharaja Ranjit Singh Police Public School, Phillaur, celebrated World Red Cross Day with enthusiasm, promoting humanitarian values and first aid awareness. Dr. Divya Grover, Medical Officer, PPA Phillaur, a distinguished medical professional delivered an informative session on emergency healthcare tips using a PowerPoint presentation. She presented a wonderful demonstration. Principal Ma'am addressed the students, emphasizing to adopt Red Cross principles and prepared for emergency services. Mr. Ajit Jain discuss details about Red Cross Society. 
Students of Class 4 and 5 prepared first aid kits and showcased first aid rules through a Nukkad Natak. Additionally, a poster-making competition was held, allowing students to creatively express their understanding of the Red Cross movement. A token of gratitude was presented to Dr. Divya Grover, concluding the event with a sense of gratitude and newfound knowledge among the students.
