5th September,2022 "Teachers Day"

On 5th September on the occasion of birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan a small function was organized in Maharaja Ranjit Singh Police Public School. On this day, senior students took the responsibility of teaching as a gratitude to their teachers. Afterwards, the programme was commenced with speeches and poems by the students on the topic 'Teachers'. They explained the importance of teachers and how teachers are the builders of nation. This was followed by Shabad in mesmerizing voice.A beautiful dance performance was given by the girls of class II, VI and X. During the dance performance the students showered flowers on the teachers to show their love and respect. This beautiful gesture is admired by all the teachers. It was followed by folk songs. The last performance was Bhangra by the girls of class XI & XII. They gave their best performance for their beloved teachers. The entire programme was applauded by everyone and will always remain a beautiful memory in the hearts of one and all.

'Swachhata Pakhwada'

The ministry of Education Government of India is observing "Swachhte Pakhwada" from 1st to 15th September 2022. The focus was on awareness regarding Covid19. In this regard various activities held in the Maharaja Ranjit Singh Police Public School Phillaur.
Day 1 * Swachhata Shapath was taken by the students and teachers on 7th Sep 2022.
Day 2 * Speech was given on cleanliness by Hari Singh Nalwa Hause on 7th Sep 2022.
Day 3 * Speech on "No to Plastic" by Jassa Singh Ahlluwalia House on 8th Sep 2022.
Day 4 * Speech on "Swachch Bharat" by Sham Singh Attari House on 9th Sep 2022.

"National Poshan Abhiyaan"

The Ministry of Women and Child Development is celebrating the fifth Rashtriya Poshan Maah 2022 from September 1 to September 30 Sep 2022, as part of the national POSHAN Abhiyaan, a Central government initiative which aims to strengthen the efforts to end hunger and malnutrition. Under this programme Maharaja Ranjit Singh Police Public School organised a speech on 12th September,2022. Students. were made aware how balanced diet is necessary for the smooth functioning of our body to remain physically as well as mentally healthy and fit.
