Annual Day Celebration
On November 14, 2022, the Annual Day was celebrated in the school with gaiety and pomp in which Ms. Anita Punj IPS ADGP cum Director ,PPA, Phillaur was invited as the chief guest. Sh. Inderbir Singh (IPS) DIG cum Joint Director, Sh.Rupinder Singh (PPS) Deputy Director, Sh Gurtejinder Singh Aulakh (PPS)Deputy Director and Sh. Pritipal Singh (PPS) Commandant cum Deputy Director cum School Manager also graced the occasion. The school, students and staff members welcomed the Chief guest and other dignitaries wholeheartedly .The program had an auspicious start by the lighting of lamp. The tiny tots of kindergarten enthralled the audience with their dance performance. Apart from this, other cultural performances also added colour to the celebration. On this occasion, the exhibition of the art work made by the students was also appreciated. The annual report of the school was presented by the Principal, Dr. Amrita Kumar.The prizes were accorded to the meritorious students by the Chief Guest. The chief Guest Ms. Anita Punj in her address, encouraged the students by her motivational words and inspired them to work hard.
"Commemoration Day" (2022-23)
Commemoration Day (21st Oct 2022) Poster making and Slogan writing competition on the theme National Integration were held in the school. Many students participated in the competition enthusiastically. Worthy manager of the school Mr. Pritipal Singh PPS, gave away the trophies and certificate to the winners of competition. He also tells students regarding the importance of this day. Principal of Ms. Amrita Kumar gave the vote of thanks speech. The function was concluded with National Anthem
MRSPPS students shine in inter school volleyball tournament.
Ludhiana Sahodya School Complex organized Inter School Volleyball Tournament (Under 19 Boys) at Guru Gobind Singh Public School, Pakhowal Road, Daad, Ludhiana on 15th and 16th November, 2022. Teams from 13 different schools participated in this tournament, in which the team of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Police Public School, Phillaur, grabbed the second position and brought glory to the school. The students were awarded with medals, trophies and certificates. The Principal, Dr. Amrita Kumar said the credit of the win goes to the hard work of PET and his fellow team members. She congratulated all the players, PET, entire staff and parents/guardians on the remarkable achievement.
"Commemoration Day" (2023-24)
In recognition of the scarifies made by Police personnel and their paramount role in preserving national security and integrity. October 21 is observed as Police commemoration Bay across the country. To pay the homage to the martyrs special assembly was organized on 21" Oct 2023 at M.RS Police Public School, Phillaur. Sports activities were organized on the same day. Students of primary wing participated in 50m race. 100m race, hurdle races, long jump and shot put. On 31" October 2023 slogan writing. Poem Recitation and Essay writing competition were organized in the school in which students from classes VI to XII participated and the theme of the competition was Patriotism. All the students participated in various activities enthusiastically, Mr. Pritipal Songly PPS and Mr. Ashok Kumar DSP(Admin) were the special guests in the function Mr. Pritipal Singh, PPS worthy manager of MRS Police Public School motivated the students through his speech. He presented trophies to the winners, Dr. Amrita Kumar, the Principal of school presented the vote of thanks to the worthy guests
Ludhiana Sahoadya Schools Complex Group Dance (Folk) Competition 2023-24.
Maharaja Ranjit Singh Police Public School won Second position in Ludhiana Sahoadya Schools Complex Group Dance (Folk) competition 2023-24. The competition was held in Guru Nanak International Public School, Model Town, Ludhiana.
NASHA MUKT BHARAT ABHIYAAN
On 24th January 2024 Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan was organized in M.R.S Police Public School, Phillaur. Students were made aware of ill effects of drug addiction. Ms. Priyanka Science teacher discussed the healthy eating habits, Importance of Yoga and meditation, harmful effects of drugs with the students. All the students and teachers participated whole heartedly. Yoga and meditation session was also held on this occasion.
National Youth Day
On 24th January 2024 National Youth Day was celebrated in M.R.S Police Public School, Phillaur. On this occasion students delivered speeches on the life of Swami Viveknand. Students were made aware of the teachings, principles and life of Swami Vivekanand through speeches. Yoga and meditation session was also held on the occasion. All the students and staff members participated whole heartedly.
Promoting Road Safety and Traffic Rules Awareness
The workshop on road safety and traffic rules was conducted on 06th Feb 2024 with the aim of raising awareness and promoting safer driving habits among students. The importance of adhering to road safety regulations to reduce accidents and fatalities was emphasized throughout the session.
The resource person Mr. Gurwachan Singh introduce students to road safety principles, overview of traffic rules and regulations, importance of following speed limits and traffic signs, strategies for reducing Accidents and promoting Safer Driving habits through Power point presentation, demonstration and video clips. In the last he had a open ended question answer session with students.
Students actively participated in the workshop and resulted in an informative and interesting workshop.
