Independence week activities
Report of Independence week activities under the program of 'Har Ghar Tiranga'.
This year to celebrate 75 years of independence of India second week of August was celebrated with various activities and special morning assembly under the program of ' AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV' and "Har Ghar Tiranga''.Students participated in poems, speeches songs and dance on the theme of Independence Day, Har Ghar Tiranga'. The students performed very well with great enthusiasm.
On the first day, Intra Class Poem Recitation for Classes I to V was held. Inter House Poster Making Competition for Classes IX and X. Two students from each house participated in the competition.
On the second day, An inter house quiz competition was organised for classes III - V to encourage the students to gain general knowledge.The topics for the quiz competition were dresses, dances, dishes and rivers of Indian states, Names of famous personalities andhistorical monuments.
Four students from each house participated in the Quiz. It was a five rounds Competition. The students showcased their brilliance by rapidly answering the questions. Overall the inter house quiz competition was a huge triumph.
On this day, the essay writing activity was also conducted for class VI - VIII.
The topics for essay writing activity were 'My Country Is My Pride and 'Har Ghar Tiranga'.
The activity was written type where the student showed up their knowledge in the way they see their enthusiastic country and its national flag 'Tiranga' as their Pride.
On the third day, Tiny tots of Nursery Wing showed their performance on the patriotic song. They participated with great enthusiasm. Inter House Solo Competition was also held. All the students participated with great zeal.
